THE SKILLS TO MOVE
Build confidence that is truly yours.
A confidence skills collection with Master Executive Coach Victoria Liu. Drawn from our first Bea & Eve Skills Webinar, Confidence as a Superpower, recorded May 2026.

Confidence is not a personality trait.
It is a set of skills you can build
Victoria Liu
Most of us were never taught confidence as a skill. We were left to wonder whether we had it or we didn't. In this collection, Master Executive Coach Victoria Liu, explores a different way of thinking about confidence through a full webinar, companion articles and short video clips, each designed to help you build confidence that feels like your own.
At the heart of it is one simple idea: confidence is not something we are born with, nor a fixed feature of who we are.
ABOUT VICTORIA
Victoria Liu is a Master Executive Coach, Amazon bestselling author of Quiet Perseverance, and has trained at Cambridge, Harvard and MIT. She spent more than two decades in global finance, holding Chief of Staff and COO roles at BlackRock and Deutsche Bank, before bringing that experience into executive coaching. She has since coached more than 4,000 executives around the world.
What makes Victoria's work so compelling is that she has lived the experience of building confidence deliberately, and knows that when confidence is built well, it lasts.
WHERE TO BEGIN
Five steps to reset and reinvigorate mind and body, so you feel ready to learn all about confidence.
Some days begin before we've even had a chance to think. The busy diary. School emails. The messages we still haven't replied to. The shopping list. What to cook for dinner tonight. All the things we're remembering for everyone else, alongside everything we're trying not to forget ourselves. This is an invitation to take some time to invest in yourself. Five simple, 20-second practices to help quieten the noise, reconnect with the present moment, and create a little space for everything you're about to discover.
BREATHE SLOWLY
Breathe in through your nose for four counts. Hold for four. Then breathe out through your mouth slowly for six. A longer exhale is a gentle signal to your nervous system that you're safe.

FIVE SENSES
Name five things you can see. Four you can touch. Three you can hear. Two you can taste. One you can smell. This grounding exercise is wonderful for children, but it's just as helpful for us too.
POWER POSTURE
Plant your feet firmly on the ground. Roll your shoulders back and open your chest. Hold the posture. This signals to your brain that you are not in a contracted state, but open.
SIP COOL WATER
Take slow sips of cool water, the way you would if you had nowhere else to be. Or splash a little onto your wrists.
SHAKE IT OUT
Shake your shoulders, arms and hands. Let your body know it no longer needs to hold on quite so tightly.
"Readiness rarely arrives on its own. It is built in the doing."
Victoria Liu, Master Executive Coach

FRESH PERSPECTIVES

PRACTICAL TOOLS
Confidence is a skill, and like any skill it can be built. Explore real, practical methods that work in the moments that matter.

YOUR OWN CONFIDENCE
Confidence looks different for everyone. Discover how to build a version that feels true to you, rather than trying to borrow someone else's.
"With practice, confidence stops being something you have to apply. It becomes a lens you see through."
