ABOUT
Meet The Founder
Bea & Eve was born from my own journey - the questions, the detours and the moments that made me realise that there is more than one way to build a career and life that feels right.

THE BIRTH OF BEA & EVE
My story
From a corporate career to a career break. From rejection to reinvention. Here are some of the moments that have shaped why Bea & Eve exists.
01
A corporate career
02
Returning to work
I spent years building a successful career in corporate marketing. I worked for a global SaaS company, a City law firm and a Big 4 firm, before consulting. I gained valuable experience, worked with brilliant people and built a set of skills that I still draw on today.
I then had my son and stepped away from my career to raise him.
When the time came to return to my career, I expected it to be relatively straightforward. I knew I had experience to offer and was ready to put it to good use. It turned out to be anything but straightforward. Doors closed before I'd even had the chance to introduce myself. Entry-level roles, part-time hours and positions multiple levels below what I had held before were met with silence or rejection. Years of experience seemed to count for very little. Application after application, and nothing to show for it.
03
The messy middle
04
Finding a new direction
05
Looking back, I think I was in what is often called the messy middle. Returning to my previous career no longer felt right, but I hadn't worked out what to do next. It was a period of real uncertainty, but it also forced me to stop and think about what I valued, what I was good at and what I wanted my next chapter to look like.
That period sent me into a fair bit of soul-searching. I consulted in different areas and tested different skill sets, working out what I actually enjoyed, what my core skills were and where I thought I could thrive. Along the way, people kept saying things like, “You’re really good at this, you should do this,” or “This might not be quite right, but you’d be amazing at it.” Options I’d never have thought of on my own. Not all of them were paths I wanted to take, but they showed me something important: the skills I had could take me down paths I hadn’t even considered.
Birth of Bea & Eve
The more women I spoke with, the clearer it became that I wasn't the only one trying to work out what comes next. Individually, their circumstances may have differed from mine, but the blockers were often just as real. For some, it was the job market itself. For others, it was the business idea they'd been carrying around for years, still waiting for the gumption to actually start it. And for quite a few, it was simply not quite believing they were worth backing. My own experience had shown me how powerful it can be when someone helps you see possibilities you hadn't considered for yourself. It got me thinking: how could I help women take ownership of their futures and develop their skills and knowledge so they could forge their own paths?
Out of that came Bea & Eve. A place where women can access the skills and knowledge they need, when they need it, to carve out a career or a business that makes them feel fulfilled and proud. Human skills, like confidence and adaptability; business skills, and the knowledge nobody teaches you, like what to do if you're facing redundancy. The things you usually only find out the hard way.

THE PROOF THAT YOU CAN
believe.
SAY IT QUICKLY AND YOU'LL HEAR IT:
BEA & EVE...
Believe in yourself and what you're capable of. Believe that you can have a fulfilling career you're genuinely passionate about. Believe that you are worth backing.
WHAT I BELIEVE
You don't need to wait for someone else's permission before you try.
I believe permission to try shouldn't have to come from an employer, or a particular career moment or junction. It's something you can give yourself: the skills to build genuine confidence and the knowledge to meet whatever's in your way with conviction. That's where the events come in too. I want to create spaces where women leave with new ideas as well as new friends.
